Tashkent, November 11, 2009. On November 10-11 the semifinals of International collegiate programming contest between the university teams of Central Asian republics (ACM–ICPC) in Middle Asia group of North-Eastern European region are held. More than 45 teams from Central Asian technical educational institutions are engaged in the competition for the right to participate in the final round.

Tashkent, October 13, 2009 - Every week, starting mid-October till the end of November 2009, the training sessions on computer skills will be delivered at UNDP’s project ICTP for people with impaired vision.

The 7th National Summit on Information and Communication Technologies took place in the International Business Centre of Tashkent. About 500 delegates from Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Korea, Russia, USA, Tajikistan, Czech Republic and Uzbekistan, the leading experts in IT sphere, representatives of governmental bodies, social and international organizations, heads and specialists of domestic and international IT companies, participated in the summit.

Tashkent, August 27, 2009 - Today the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan held the media briefing for the representatives of mass media on the activities of the UNDP «Assisting the Government of Uzbekistan in the formulation and implementation of information and communication technologies for development policy» (ICTP) Project.
