Within the framework of the Annual National Software Exhibition BestSoft Uzbekistan 2010 the results of the republican contest among the exhibitors of BestSoft Uzbekistan 2010 in nominations "Software product – brand of the year”, “Best company in IT education”, “Best project implementation 2009, “Best Innovation Company” (announced for the first time), “Best student work” (announced for the first time) have been announced.

The contest was organized by the Association of ICT Companies and Organizations of Uzbekistan and UNDP’s “Assisting the Government of Uzbekistan in the formulation and implementation of ICT for development policy” project (ICTP). Government support was provided by the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan.

The annual software contest is held to find the best in software industry of Uzbekistan. During a month the organizers of the contest have been reviewing the applications from the participants. In total the organizers received about 40 applications, in which the participating companies presented their latest developments in the software field.

So this year the company NORMA HAMKOR with "My city" information retrieval system has won in the category "Software product – brand of the year". In the nomination "Best project implementation 2009" there has been announced two winners at once: the center of scientific-technical and marketing research UNICON.UZ for the project “Implementation of electronic document management system with the use of digital signatures in government” and the company Fido-Biznes for the implementation of accounting system for insurance contracts in OSAGO company CO «Universal Sugurta».

Softline International has been named the best company in IT education for the development of Softline training centerin Uzbekistan. Two companies, Intelligent Solutions and NewMax Technology, gave been acknowledged as the best innovation companies.

Popular local program for accounting "BEM" developed by «Bem Systems» has been recognized as "Best software product - the sales leader". The following students works have been awarded with encouragement prizes: Asror Zokirov’s  educational interactive multimedia program «MsOffice Tutor», Bekzod Asadullayev’s program for maintaining centralized accounting and organization of a database of farms of Uzbekistan, Rustam Burnashev’s «Sanepidsoft» project. The development of educational multimedia video course “Adobe Dreamweaver CS” by Alisher Ashurov, 4th-year student of Tashkent University of Information Technologies has been named the best student work.

All winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable prizes from the organizers and sponsors.
