Uzbekistan National Programmers Forum will be held at the Communications History Museum on 18 May 2010 and Annual National Software Exhibition BestSoft – Uzbekistan 2010 will take place on 19-20 May at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies.

National Summit on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) – ICT Summit 2009 – one of the most striking events of ICT Week – InfoCom 2009 will be held on September 22 at the International Business Center in Tashkent.

Today National Software Products Exhibition “BEST SOFT - UZBEKISTAN 2009” has been opened in sport complex of  Tashkent University of Information Technology It should be noted that the exhibition has managed great development and gained recognition as the leading annual event in the sphere of software industry for the last three years.

Today, on September 23rd, the National Summit on Information and Communication Technologies, one of the key events of ICT week INFOCOM 2008, started its work in Tashkent.

Annual National Exhibition and Forum "BestSoft – Uzbekistan 2008" will be held on May 15-16,2008 in the Exhibition Hall № 4 and Business Centre of NEC “Uzexpocentre”, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

We would like to thank you for active participation in work of the fifth anniversary Summit on information-communication technologies (ICT Summit 2007), held on September, 27-28th, 2007 within the frame work of information-communication technologies week - InfoCom 2007. More than 300 delegates from Great Britain, Germany, Canada, Kazakhstan, Korea, the Netherlands, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Japan, and other countries attended the Summit.

According to the signed Memorandum on partnership between the IT-association of Uzbekistan and the National Agency of Korea of Internet development, International workshop on managing and developing of information resources–“U-Connect 2007" started its work. The workshop was held under the assistance of UzACI and the Ministry of information and communication of the Republic of Korea.

The workshop is organized jointly by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) , Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT), the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan through ICT Policy Project in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan through Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan and IT Association of Uzbekistan.

The First National Exhibition of Software Products, Best Soft – UZBEKISTAN 2007 was held in the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts. The opening date of the Exhibition was specifically chosen as May 17th to correspond with the date of celebration of the World Information Society Day, declared by the United Nation’s General Assembly in 2006. The event, tied to the celebration of the World Information Society Day, serves as an expression of Uzbekistan’s contribution to the international initiative.
